Erica Yvette Garcia is honored to represent her community as the 2025 Bosque Farms Rodeo Association Queen. A proud native of Belen, New Mexico, Erica has spent her life immersed in agriculture, leadership, and service.
She is currently a senior at New Mexico State University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics with a minor in Livestock Production. Before attending NMSU, Erica earned an associate degree in Agriculture Business from Allen Community College in Iola, Kansas, where she also competed on the Red Devils Livestock Judging Team. At NMSU, she continues her involvement in agriculture as a member of the NMSU Livestock Judging Team, Collegiate Farm Bureau, 4-H, FFA, and Sigma Alpha – Alpha Sigma Chapter, a professional agricultural sorority.
Erica is also the proud owner of EY Cattle Co. and HYG Club Lambs, two growing operations where she raises and shows competitive show cattle and lambs. She actively shows at state fairs, and national livestock shows. Passionate about mentorship, Erica supports youth in 4-H and FFA through hands-on coaching and virtual guidance, helping them gain confidence and experience in the livestock industry.
Her leadership background includes serving as the 2023 National Runner-Up Miss Agriculture USA, the 2020 New Mexico Cowbell Beef Ambassador, and a 2022 Chairman for the New Mexico Cowbell Beef Ambassadors. Through these roles, she has proudly promoted agriculture and beef advocacy while educating others about the importance of food production and rural values.
As the 2025 Bosque Farms Rodeo Association Queen, Erica is passionate about sharing her love of rodeo, agriculture, and the western way of life. She looks forward to using her title to serve as a role model, represent her community with pride, and inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders. Whether she’s in the rodeo arena, a classroom, or a livestock barn, Erica’s goal remains the same: to lead with heart, purpose, and authenticity.
